Open System International (OSI) wanted to enter the Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) market with an innovative product that would provide unsurpassed functionality. OSI asked Logic for a solution that provided communication flexibility, and was compact, rugged, and competitively priced.
FAST FORWARD
Logic industrial designers, and mechanical and PCB engineers collaborated to develop a product configuration that allowed all functional components to be easily accessible to end users in a range of scenarios. With a compact design that reinforces the OSI brand image, the product breaks away from the typical “square box” form associated with competitive products.
FINISH
The OSI Remote Information System met all functional requirements, and gave OSI a high visibility, high quality entry into the RTU market.
