The Logic Egg Drop Minneapolis. Version 2.0
Madness? You decide.
Logic Minneapolis hosted its 2nd annual egg drop contest with friends and family. The rules were simple: no driven propellers, must fly from the 4th floor, and no rockets! Flying eggs went on for about two hours with landings that included 'splat', 'crack', and successful 'rest' of sorts. Over 20 participants entered in two categories and many received prizes, but all were winners for their sheer ability to create an innovational egg 'craft'.
Categories for competition:
- Open category: judged on accuracy (closeness to target) and flight time (slower is better), target will be away from building. Launch vehicle can be tossed from window.
- Challenge category: egg must be visible and rest on pavement after drop (without intervention). Target directly below window.
Stay tuned for Version 3.0. Could next year have obstacles?
