This course is meant to be a configurable training session targeted at embedded systems developers who are at a beginner or intermediate Windows CE development level. The training is an interactive session that uses a Logic Product Development starter development kit as the target hardware. The training can be done on any one of the supported target hardware configurations, but will be targeted at a single hardware configuration per training session.
The training topics are derived from a combination of the Microsoft-standard course topics and past training sessions Logic has provided. The actual content has been fully developed by Logic's experienced Windows CE development team to include both the theoretical and the practical implementations of Windows CE on target hardware systems. The training material is used to train both external customers and internal development staff and may vary in some areas to meet the needs of the attending audience.
When finished with this course, attendees should be able to understand the basics of:
- Windows CE development environments (Platform Builder IDE, Platform Builder Command Line, Embedded Visual tools, Visual Studio.net)
- Windows CE OEM Adaptation Layer (OAL) development
- Windows CE device driver development
