The LH75401 Card Engine standard memory configuration does not have enough memory to handle the File Allocation Table (FAT) for many CompactFlash cards. It will work if the FAT is small enough, this can be achieved by using a small enough CompactFlash card (16MB) and keeping the file structure on the card minimal. You may have to create a smaller partition on the card as well to minimize the file system size.
