By providing a product-ready hardware and software platform, Logic PD's embedded solutions fast forward development and help engineers stay focused on their high-value core technologies. The Zoom PowerQUICCTM Development Kit is a low-cost, high-performance method of evaluating the Freescale PowerQUICC processor and COM Express System on Module (SOM).
Logic PD's COM Express SOM is ideal for applications in the industrial, networking, and medical markets. The SOM adheres to the COM Express Compact form factor and is based on the Type III pin-out specification. The MPC8360 PowerQUICC processor from Freescale Semiconductor provides both control and communications processing in a single chip, making it a cost-effective solution for any product requiring deterministic industrial networking protocols.
By starting their design with the Zoom PowerQUICC Development Kit, developers can write application software on the same hardware that will be used in the final product.
The Zoom PowerQUICC Development Kit includes the COM Express SOM, application baseboard, and accessories required to immediately begin development work.
