The Zoom OMAP35x Torpedo Development Kit is a low-cost, high-performance application development kit for evaluating the functionality of the OMAP35x Torpedo System on Module (SOM).
Application development is performed right on the product-ready OMAP35x Torpedo SOM and software Board Support Packages (BSPs) included in the kit, which enables you to seamlessly transfer your application code and hardware into production. The included OMAP35x Torpedo SOM utilizes the superset OMAP3530 processor and allows for easy evaluation of both the OMAP3530 and OMAP3503 processors.
The ultra-compact Torpedo SOM is ideal for applications in the medical, point-of-sale, industrial, security, and consumer markets where space is at a premium. From point of care medical devices to bar code readers, handheld radios to mobile Internet devices, netbooks to CCTV cameras, the Torpedo SOM allows for powerful versatility, compact designs, and long-life products.
The Zoom OMAP35x Torpedo Development Kit includes the OMAP35x Torpedo SOM, application baseboard, 4.3" WQVGA LCD, and accessories required to immediately begin development work.
