Why choose a Logic PD SOM? It's the logical starting point.

We understand the importance of value. So when we create our System on Module (SOM)
embedded products, we strive for a product that will give you the things you ask for:
like a small footprint, low power consumption, and proven software.

Smallest size.

Using our extensive design experience,
we've created a SOM that is up to ten times
smaller than other modules and half the size
of our closest competitor.

Lowest power.

Our SOM coupled with our software board
support packages (BSPs) provide a solid platform
to address the anytime, anywhere needs
of today's connected products.

Reliable software.

It is important to work with the right tools.
We start with the best-in-class open source
BSPs and add performance improvements,
further power savings, and support.

Smallest size. We know the pressure that designers shoulder to keep their products small and manageable. So we've created a SOM that is up to ten times smaller than other modules and half the size of our closest competitor.

Lowest power. Creating a successful product begins early in development when conscious trade-offs are made between performance and power consumption. We provide the tools to begin this development. Our software BSPs are designed for remarkably low power in both active and suspend modes when compared to our competitors.

Reliable software. We start with the best-in-class open source board support packages (BSPs) and then add performance improvements, further power savings, and support to provide you a new starting point. Additionally, our BSPs are developed using a rigorous medical-grade ISO 13485 quality management process to reduce risk and provide full test documentation.

Product Software Roadmap
To help you with your project planning efforts, we provide this multi-year software roadmap that shows general operating system trends and our planned support over time, as well as detailed release plans for each operating system along with the features and platforms they will support.

Test Plans and Reports
After a BSP is released, all release artifacts are available with the BSP download. Each BSP includes a Software Test Plan and Software Test Report which can be used to understand how each feature in the BSP was tested.

Process Documentation
Under NDA, additional software process documentation such as requirements and traceability documents can be made available.
