MINNEAPOLIS – February 14, 2017 – Logic PD, a complete product development and lifecycle solutions company for the connected world, today announced that Sandy Bell, Chief Financial Officer, will participate in a panel discussion at the upcoming Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter of The CFO Leadership Council on Thursday, February 16, at the offices of audit, tax, and consulting firm RSM in downtown Minneapolis.
Bell will join in a panel discussion entitled “Disruptive Technologies,” as one of four participants discussing the latest disrupters in technology and what the rapid changes portended by these innovations mean for financial professionals. The event will start at 7:15 a.m., with the panelist program taking place from 8:00 – 9:15 a.m.
“Logic PD has been at the forefront of product development and manufacturing firms who understand and deploy new technologies and trends. We serve our customer best by staying ahead of market changers like the big data revolution, which has inspired companies like ours to re-think the technologies, service models and revenue streams available to new product makers,” Bell said. “The product developers of tomorrow have to understand how to harness the power of disruptors like these to take full advantage of the transformational change they drive.”
Bell will be joined on the panel by other business and industry leaders from Mentormate and the Distributed Robotics program at the University of Minnesota. Mary Beth Jameson, director at RSM, will moderate the session, which will explore the challenges, risks, and opportunities associated with coming changes in the fields of robotics, the Internet of Things, and mobile technology. The panelists will also discuss strategies to take advantage of emerging opportunities while minimizing risks associated with these disruptive technologies.
The CFO Leadership Council is a nationwide community of senior financial executives dedicated to developing strong leadership at all professional levels, from Controller to CFO. Both CFO Leadership Council members and non-members can purchase tickets for the event here.
