Flow Down for Component Supplier
Supplier shall be able to provide documented evidence that supplier has a QMS that is compliant to an AS/EN/JISQ standard.
Supplier shall comply to documentation requirements per ASQR-01 section 4.4. including records retention of 10 years.
Distributors shall be able to provide documented evidence that supplier is a qualified distributor as defined on UTC Qualified Distributors list (QDL).
Supplier shall prevent and mitigate the use of counterfeit parts. Supplier shall comply with the requirements of AS5553 for electronic components and AS6174 for non-electronic product. Supplier shall request and obtain approval from Logic PD prior to the use of material with broken traceability or material provided from a non-authorized supplier.
Supplier shall have defined lighting requirements and environmental control for consistent visual inspection (e.g., appropriate lighting intensity, defined work station parameters and verification frequency, distance to product being inspected).
Non-conforming product- Supplier shall inform Logic PD within 24 hours of discovery of suspect nonconforming product having been shipped to Logic PD.
Supplier shall maintain a record of complete traceability and provide a C of C (Certification of Conformance) from the original manufacturer.
“Components intended to soldered shall pass Solderability Test in accordance with MIL-STD-883, method 2003.* or MIL-STD-202, method 208, MIL-STD-750, method 2026.*, or MIL-STD-883, method 2022.*, J-STD-002 or J-STD-003 category type 3, whichever is applicable.”
Components/ connectors/ brackets/etc. shall comply with ANSI IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 Class 3.
Special Process Supplier shall be certified to Nadcap AC7004 or AS/EN/JISQ 9100.
Special requirements for custom machined / manufactured components:
FAI required per AS9102.
Domestic Specialty Metals – All specialty metals used shall be melted in the United States or a qualifying country. These specialty metals are defined in the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Clause 252.225-7008, Restriction on Acquisition of Specialty Metals, and 252.225-7009, Restriction on Acquisition of Certain Articles Containing Specialty Metals, as defined in http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfars/html/current/252225.htm.

Special requirements for Standard Catalog Hardware:
No FAI required.
Calibration supplier shall have defined lighting requirements and environmental control for consistent visual inspection (e.g., appropriate lighting intensity, defined work station parameters and verification frequency, distance to product being inspected).
Annual eye exams are required for calibration technicians, records must be provided upon request.
Supplier shall comply to documentation requirements per ASQR-01 section 4.2.
Calibration suppliers shall be compliant to ISO/IEC 17025. Original Equipment Manufacturers of the equipment to be calibrated that are providing calibration services shall be compliant to AS9100 or ISO9001.
